Rigale is aimed at trying to improve the overall interactions of the player and its party with its surrounding world, in an RPG way of doing things.
Here is a list of the "improvements"/features so far (some of the features include OSP works, check credits please):
Basic crafting (woodcrafting/smithing/cooking), linked to new skills;
Basic gathering (hunting/fishing/lumbering/mining/harvesting), linked to new skills;
Exploration (linked to discovering things on the main map, and knowing the area allows to go faster);
Some village uniqueness (better troops, special buy and special sells so far);
Guilds ranks, effects and choices (too many to describe);
Troops specialists (not only fighting troops, but also campers, miners, hunters, scouts...)
Random events;
"Strategic" party choices (entrenching/ambushing/camping/rushing/exploring);
Exhaustion
Disease (well, only dysentery for now)
Learn from doing: Rigale skills improve in many different ways. (Fighting and questing are just some part of the leveling possibilities)
