how to "take" troops from your lords??

As long as there is hash ( # ) in front of it it won't work. It is outcommented then.

You need the source for diplomacy btw. and edit those files. If you use the general module system you will have a native game.

I suggest you chose a different folder for that. Just to be on the safe side.

No, I have this too. It say's Error13: permission denied and it just suddenly happened without changing anything. my guess is that it's a bug in Python or the module system itself or so. It helped for me to just put my module system on my destkop instead of my own C:

Edit: If that doesn't help then also move your M&B folder to your destkop.
