I never asked this when i was playing, so i wanted to make things clear.
What does "Low porn orc" mean?
Some sort of orcs which likes to watch underrated kind of porns or something?
Also i find it funny, but you know in viking times porns and orcs didnt exist

Sense of humour radar is set to off position.

The actual taunt is Low Born Orc but has rather hilariously been appropriated and is now it's own Vikingr meme. I have also noticed that some of the taunts are taken from the epic 1066 game from Channel 4 Battle for Middle Earth program. Which is so full of win it hurts.

Also if you did know what it meant and you were just being funny then I will stamp fail to my forehead.

"Orc" was simply something Saxons used to call foreigners, and it's not porn but born. Low-Born Orc = "Foreigner of low status and/or questionable parentage."

Edit; ****, ninja'd. Thoroughly.

Edit2; check this thread: Link.

Personally I prefer berserker war-cries much more straightforward  l-b orc has worn a bit thin nowdays.

Yes, low porn is Vikingr lingo, it all started here : http://forums.taleworlds.com/index.php/topic,154494.msg3711942.html#msg3711942

I see a lot of warcrys are taken from that 1066 game. Also is there any list of all warcrys? I've managed to gather only few:
- You puny potlicker!
- Ill-born fen rat!
- Onion-eyed oaf!
- Stench Weasel!
- Raven Starver
- Stinking turd
- Fox beard!
- Oozing Pus-wound!

"Rump" is the behind of certain animals in English and a general term for ass in the Scandinavian tongues. Many traditional Scandinavian dishes are made by stuffing food up in the rump of birds, chickens especially.

pretty much all of the warcrys are stolen from 1066, with the exception of "That's a nice head you have on your shoulders", "I will drink from your skull", and YEEEEAAARGH. those were from the sea raiders in vanilla warband.

It's a little less than that...

Many of the cries are also from here and here:smile: It would be nice one day to rerecord and add in brand new voice taunts but, as always, all good things to come.

Less talking! More raiding!

Are we aiming for English ones or can they also be Old English/Old Norse?
I could try to gather some then.

Need more female taunts. Getting a bit tired of "Rarghhhhh!"
Indeed.

OE and ON would be awesome. I am sure that, between us in the group, we can find suitable people to pronounce.

If the mod team is going for a more 'realistic feel', then I hope they tottally remove female characters from the game, until then any immersion and realism for me personally, is broken by women running across a battlefield screaming.

Who will make the sandwiches otherwise? .
