North American Duel Tournament
Originally inspired by the Aussie's Ladder Tournament, I think I've come up with a solid tournament for the North American dueler. This tournament is to encourage one on one competition and promote the art of dueling in Warbands.
-DOUBLE ELIMINATION TOURNAMENT (DET)-
-Anyone may register for the NA-DET, but please note servers used will be located in North America.
-Once registration is closed the organizing committee will use http://challonge.com/tournament/bracket_generator to generate one random tournament with the names of the registered participants.
*-Once the tournament begins the scheduled round is to be completed and the result sent within 5 days of the start. All subsequent rounds will have 5 days to be completed at which point the next one begins.
-Matches will be scheduled through PM's between the two individuals involved with the person with the higher seed choosing North American duel/deathmatch server. A concerted effort should be made by both to accommodate time constraints of the opponent.
-The result should be posted after the match by both players (winner especially) along with a spoiler screenshot using FRAPS or simply print-screen.
-At the end of the tournament an individual contestant will be declared the overall winner of the duel tournament.
-At the end of the tournament, a clan will be declared the winner of the duel tournament based the number of matches won by members. (A win in any round counts as 1 point for the clan.)
-MATCH RULES-
-All matches are subject to the following rules, and must be fought on dedicated servers located in North America. Obviously they must be manual block servers. US_S6, US_West_POM**, PRT_DUEL, US_GK_Duel**-Matches will be best of 13, or in other words first to 7 kills.
-Players may use no ranged weapons (no bows, no crossbows and no throwing weapons).
-Players will use factions in the server at the time both players have joined.
-Players may use any amount of gold available in the server for as many weapons they choose.
-Players may not use any gold to purchase armor of any kind.
-Players may only equip one shield. (be aware of this when choosing weapons)
-Players may not kill themselves for regeneration of health. (every hit will count)
-Players will back away the customary distance when beginning the duel. (no instant F, 3, 2, 1, slash)
-Players may use any and all Warband fighting techniques and are allowed to switch any weapon in their inventory during the match.
-CODE OF CONDUCT***-

THE WINNER: IG_M
They say in Mount and Blade Warbands players live or die, not by the sword, but by their ping. IG_M isn't one of those players. Having clinched a spot in the final IG_M only had to defeat the formidable Mr_X in one match to achieve victory. Mr_X took an early 2-0 lead, IG_M answered by equalizing with 2 straight. The score was tied 2-2 when a deranged naked monk ran into the arena forcing the competitors to wait until the disruption was over. Returning to the fight both seemed to want to deal the final blow yet were wary of making the slightest mistake. IG_M pulled ahead 6-4 and in proper European style, attempted a move I was surprised to see. A kickslash for the kill and the victory makes IG_M FCNAD's first winner. Mr_X takes second place and BkS_Rhade finishes in third. Congratulations IG_M!

**US_GK_Duel and US_West_POM are using a mod on their server which completely regenerates health after every kill. If you choose to duel there, please note the match result will not be eligible for the "flawless victory" award.
