If you think you found a bug please make sure that you are using the newest version of diplomacy or that the bug is no new feature which has been introduced with the latest update. In addition if you experience crashes and/or graphical errors always try to delete the Diplomacy folder under W&B/modules and install the mod again.

Make sure that you deleted the Diplomacy folder under 'Mount & Blade Warband/modules' before installing the mod if an update to a new Mount&Blade version was included

If you want to report a bug please go to https://www.assembla.com/spaces/diplomacy/support/tickets, check if there is already a support ticket for that bug, if there is no ticket you can create one and add as much detail as possible. Even more appreciated is a link to a save game. Please also state which other mods you are using and whether you modified anything.

Known Issues
  • saves of older versions might not be compatible with newer versions. For example this might cause freezing recruiters and no popups to appoint chamberlain/constable
  • if you see messages like Unable to open file: CommonRes\wepon_meshes_e.brf or Unable to load scene objects you have a faulty installation. Please make sure you are running the appropriate Warband Version and that you followed the installation instructions.
 
when i install the mod it doesnt let me run the program to incorporate it into a native copy, it says:

"Installer Integrity check has failed. Common causes include incomplete download and damaged media. Contact the installer's authority to obtain a new copy"

I've never had a problem with installing your mods before, or any other mods, got any suggestions for this?
 
Not sure if I should post this here or start a new thread - feel free to correct me.

The constable training doesn't work for me, the first time I tried it I got a huge splatter of red errors about an OP command (could have been get_strength, or something similar, really not sure). Anytime I do it after, no error, but the moment I leave the court, if I return, his training menu has reset (ie it no longer says "Stop training in xyz")

I started the save in 2.8.1 (the last version), and just upgraded earlier today, hadn't tried the training before that though. Could it be incompatibility with the save?

Restarted the program, no error, wandered around for a bit and then got a message saying he'd upgraded 2 troops, sorry for the hassle caused (just seemed odd to me that the "stop training" option is no longer there.
 
Not a bug but a spelling mistake :wink:

When you want to send out a spy to a settlement the constable says: "As you wish, I will send a syp spy to Tihr and ...." for example.

So far no bugs for me hehe
 
In a couple of towns everything is hanging in the air?
Unkown which exactly, will check it out.
But it is Jelkala for sure.

EDIT: Yalen and Veluca the same...
 
hi Waihti ,i puzzled about that when my hero died in a castle battle,but the army is holding the positon,how can i quit the
battle? in this case ,i can only close the game. this a bug or not?
 
A rather minor one, but annoying because I'm always alarmed when I see red error msgs.

I sent an oil gift caravan to Sanjar Khan and before leaving the town I asked the guild master for a job. He asked me to escort a caravan to Shariz and I agreed. When I left town and contacted the quest caravan, i got a red error msg complaining about a wrong party ID. It happened again when we arrived at Shariz. From that moment on I get this two msgs everytime I do the escort caravan quest.

I quess it has something to do that two caravan parties had to be spawned at the very same time and their IDs were somehow messed up. I come to this conclusion because the quest caravan told me in the first place that they were delivering oil to Sanjar Khan but then got to the right dialog sequence.
Did my oil ever reach Sanjar Khan? I don't know, because I had to handle some ingame complications what kept me from watching less important things. It might be possible that the oil caravan was actually "replaced" by the quest caravan.

yea,had the same problem.couldnt leave because i died too close to the enemy and my sharpshooters were out of ammo and were standing still so had to quit.
You need to find a solution for this.Perhaps,when you die,the troops should automatically charge.

i just checked jelkala, everything fine for me. couldnt find any floating objects.

did you try to download the installer again?

did you try to download the installer again?

yeah i tried 4/5 times, got the same problem each time
 
The feature to bribe an opponent Lord does not work.
I can choose the fief i want give to him, the Empire, Lord and my loyal Companion. But after two days comes my Companion back and say the rest of his report i can read.
But nowhere can I find a report, not once a Simples: "He says no."

i can't see/understand the bug here. details about the lords decision might be added in later versions.

My emissaries return from their Lord propositions with the correct verbiage.
Something like Baron X has declined the offer. 

The real problem is that they always return with a no.
There needs to be an indicator of how close you are to swaying that Lord.

Bug Report: My emissaries are disappearing when I send them on the right to rule mission where they travel the lands with their story.
I lost 5 of my companions and it's been 3 months since seeing them. The traveller should be able to tell me what became of them at least.
3 of them were even at "friend" status.
This hurts because you need lots of emissaries in Diplomacy.
My dungeon checks reveal nothing.  I've checked in most of the taverns with no success.

Maybe the developer can add more emissaries or companions if you can't figure out the reason the companions disappear.
 
Just had a really weird bug, I deleted everything, reinstalled, used new update for diplomacy, and started a new game, but when I went to defend Praven from a siege, the map was really messed up, as if the hills and everything had moved, but the houses and walls were in a different place.

So there were troops buried underground, and the AI pathfinding didn't work at all, as the ladders/hole in the wall were gone or under the ground.
When I get the time I'll check the other towns, hopefully enter another siege with praven and see if it happens again. Which scene files are responsible for sieges? Perhaps it would be fixed if I copied the siege files from the native module?
