Roots of Yggrdrassil: Starting a war

So i started my own kingdom all good now i want to attack a castle of one of my former 'friends' but my relation with them is so high i can't attack the castle and i've been rocking around for days trying to attack a caravan to bring my relation with said faction down so i can then attack it...can't find any.

Anyone know how a quick way to start a war....be good if there was an option for this in say the camp menu.

Well, it's not as fast, but if you can't find caravans start kicking around their town villagers.

Or you could just camp around one of their towns for a few days, eventually one of their caravans (or said villagers) will come wandering into your ambush. Don't forget to pack LOTS of food... Hell you can buy it from their market
