Copy Paste

So... I may not be searching the correct terms, but I cannot find a simple explanation of what exactly I need to copy and paste over in order to clone an established settlement onto one of the Emptxxx settlements.

I just spent over half an hour looking through the sub forum, but everything I have found was about creating new scenes. I'm not interested in that at all, I just want to be able to enter the Emptxxx settlements and develop them.

In short, what am I replacing what with in order to make all Emptxxx settlements behave like a finished settlement?

You have to do two things:

• Edit the file scenes.txt
  For each settlement there are 9 entries that look like this:

  The red 0 is the economic upgrade ranging from 0 to 2, the blue 0 is the military upgrade also ranging from 0 to 2, the green 1 is the number of the settlement, currently going from 1 to 50 (full list). This results in 9 entries for each settlement.
  If you want to copy a settlement you have to copy everything after the second green number to the lines of the settlement you want to fill. This results in the base terrain of both settlements to be identical.
• Copy and rename the files in the folder SceneObj
  In this folder there are nine files with a name like scn_custom_settlement_e0m0_1.sco, copy these and change the number of the settlement to the settlement you want to fill.

Thanks very much. I've done this in my current game and every settlement works fine. But now I have another question... I expected to be able to customize all settlements owned by my faction... but I don't have the same options everywhere as I have in my first settlement...
