aleays everybody wants tools when I ask him. But where do I get them. Or wehre do I find people to join me or how do I get money ?
Tools improve productivity (and your relation with the settlement) but they are not needed. If you have the money you can buy them at the merchant (only in Custow at the start).
If you have good relations with a settlement you can talk to the village elder and relocate some peasants (costs 2 relations and 200 denar). You can also talk to wandering peasants so they go to your settlement. Or you can wait in your settlement and talk to visiting peasants so they stay.
and what are mock sieges good for ?
Combat training between your troop and the garrison - in other words for experience points.
