Making a minor faction with the name Banate of Croatia would be the best solution, with something  like 2 towns, 4 castles,  5 lords, and a separate troop tree.

That sounds good
I agree too, separate minor faction is best way. So only 5 lords name, and troop tree i sugest max. 13-15 units.

Im check map edge and Lithuania be very minor faction too. Cities maybe 2, Marjampole(or Brest) and Baranavichy(or Hrodna), possible is create 4 Castles,  Brest (or Marjampole), Slonim, Lida and Hrodna(or Baranavichy). With villages we need help too. I sugest minimaly 10 villages. Troop tree with max 13 units position.

I really, really hate to disappoint such a good modeler, but all those armors with white parrots are not to use in mod (well, maybe for Polish lords)

Really, I know that Polish knights with red heraldic mails with giant white parrot on it looks sexy as hell and so, but there were hardly used by SOME of Poles at this time.
More heraldry was on banners and shields, while armors still remained mostly simple hauberks, lamellar and scale.
Leave studies, flee with circus.

**** you, snow.

It´s true, but we give this "sexy" items only for elite units Polish Rycerz and Polish Pan. I know, so polish knights and nobles uses more eastern look like equipment (scale and lamellar armors... helms.... etc.). Bohemian knights uses more german style equipment (Surcoat over mail with heraldry was common in czech kingdom in 1257). But this is still only game and good looking is very important... So I thing polish pan be equiped with scale, or lamellar armor, and surcoat over mail be used only for knights.
