Pictish weaponry and armor
« on: January 07, 2010, 06:51:02 PM »
To begin, a few concepts that could be quite useful to work with (originally posted on TWC IBFD 2 forum).

1st character: interesting helmet, clothing and scale armor.
2nd character: interesting clothing.

Clothing, helms and shields interesting. Also the axes.

Interesting clothing.

Interesting clothing and shields. The cloack worn over torso (on tunic or armor) would be nice to have depicted in the mod.

Some stuff from Viking Total War (RTW mod), models by Empio ( http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=149477 ):

Excellent shield.

I'd love to see troops like these. Are there some already in the mod? I haven't had much time to test everything yet

Well. that's an axe!

They may be called the Palace Guard, the City Guard, or the Patrol. Whatever the name, their purpose in any work of heroic fantasy is identical: it is, round about Chapter Three (or ten minutes into the film) to rush into the room, attack the hero one at a time, and be slaughtered.

No one ever asks them if they want to.

Thanks, I like making axes, they are simple and very easy to texture too.  :D
