21) Tournaments should give the player more renown and be a lot more harder. Also i think you guys could add some disciplines to compete, like Lancing, Melee combat, ranged combat, something like that. I get really angry when I'm about to win the tournament and I come up with a bow and my opponent is with a mighty shield and a sword.
I'm rather new, but I agree here. I just had a tournament where, on the last round, I have javelins against a sword wielder. My horse was killed and I could not melee fight. I died trying desperately to find a melee weapon. So I stopped to come search here and post about this.
I think a tournament of the medieval genre, by definition, should place in combat similar weapons, such as javelin vs javelin; bow vs bow; two handed sword vs two handed sword, etc.

For the arena, it should be all melee or all bow, not a mix. A full archery fight in an arena could be an interesting concept, though I would use a woodland map instead of an arena.
