An idea: when enemy lord catch recruiter party, instead of killing recruits, he just attach them to his party. Lord force recruiter to give recruits or pay for them more then you. Same if You catch enemy recruiter ;)

Yes you can but some files need to be overwritten and you need to get the files from me first. PM me if you wish to get them.

Nice idea but I think they should act like with "recruiting from prisoners" -command, so that some of them would escape the next night. This mod's development is on hold right now, I need to get some info about faction relations and village relations to player. The commands to store relations do not seem to work.

1st does it take into consideration if the player owns the village or not? because we obviously get more recruits if it's our fief but does it affect the # of recruits the recruiters get?
2nd could we make a recruiter for the player party?
3rd you said that recruiters could only get men from villages, would there be a way to make it work for hiring mercenaries too?

I'm currently working on the village and faction relations so they will be taken into consideration.
If your relation to a village is higher, recruiters can also get more recruits from it. Also if there's recruits of better quality, recruiters should be able to recruit them too.

It is possible but very hard to do. For example, what would happen if there's not enough room in your party when the recruiter returns from his journey?

That would be pretty simple to do, only the menus would be a bit arduous to do.

i'll have a look when i get home to see what i can do in regards to getting mercenary recruiters, as well as a party recruiter

Edit: I've tried making it so that you can access the "hire a recruiter" in the camp menu, added it under "upgrade troops"(i have rubiks upgrade fix) and it doesn't show up in game.  i assume this is due to the fact they were originally coded for towns, now my question would it be necessary to completely recode the whole thing or would there just be parts i'd need to change?

Hmm, this might be good for recruits but I think a group of Swadian Knights would rather die than defect to those barbaric nords.

That's not such a big accomplishment if you play since May/June 2007 :P.
