I had the loading error, then a blue screen, installed the first patch and had black screen instead and now after I installed the 2nd patch I still have the loading error but no single-coloured screen, so actually the patches are doing good for me.

Decent alpha, some spelling mistakes. I had my small band destroyed by some peasants....
The French have a King's Guard......the King was guillotined?
The French troops are called "France *insert unit name here*" instead of "French *insert unit name here*".
Also the French are called the Republic of France yet their faction leader is called "Emperor Bonaparte"
The British still have black britches.
The British have a unit called "Towern Guard". I presume this is "Tower Guard"? How about adding a guards line instead, such as the Foot Guards?
Infantry are called "Infantrie" in the game.
Suggestions:
How about adding bicornes and a larger selection of hats? Also how about some flintlock muskets.....
How about calling "Revolution Party" "Dissenting Peasants"? Seems strange having another revolt in France or the States. Also they have quite a lot of troops: might be hard for starters.
Instead of "High Road Bandits" call them "Highwaymen"
There are probably loads of names for the ordinary troops.
Also, how about extending troop trees to allow for different troop types, such as giving the French Cuirassiers, or Horse Grenadiers.
Just having "Dragoons","Hussars"&"Lancers" as each faction's cavalry might be a little generic.
