Justiciar: You're right in many statements, like the scotish invasions (even in the period of the mod, King Malcolm of Scotland invaded England to ''punish the earl of Northumbria'' and ''defend his rights'') . Actually english were more agressive thought. They now have made Scotland a filthy vassal, depriving the highlands people of their pride and national culture of bravery. Long live William, the Wallace!
You aren't going to drag me into another debate, are you?

Canmore didn't invade Northumbria to punish an Earl, and the only rights he
may have been defending were the rights to plunder and take advantage of the ruin being wrought upon England by dynastic strife, revolt, and eventual war with Norway and most of France. If you're referring to the earlier invasion during Siward's tenure, that was even
less justified. I'll concede that England was the more aggressive state throughout much of the middle ages, though; such is the want of large neighbours.
If you want to raise the Acts of Union and modern-day Nationalism, I'd suggest doing so in the Sage's Guild, or perhaps the OT forum.
