Update (Aug 29)-- The servers are back up, and the hopefully more stable MySQL system is in place. I don't want to say that everything is fine yet until some time has gone by.


More: The character data file gets periodically corrupted. This is (I think) because I had not used a system designed for input from multiple servers. I will frequently back up the file.

Basically, when the data file gets corrupted, you will not be able to log on to your character's account. I'll reset the data to my latest backup as soon as I can, but that means any gold or renown earned in that time will be reset to my last backup.

Apologies for this.

Whenever I'm ready to start an official campaign, I will try to give some sort of bonus to all those who played while the score tracking was still unstable...

ya I have lost maybe 50-70k renown.... maybe more :(

Probably it's being stored in MySQL. Probably...

Yeah the website doesn't work for me and I too have faced the dreaded loss of my beautiful renown..I hope the bonus is big.
