Incorrect Serial Number?

Yesterday I was playing on the Mount and Blade Warband Demo and I thought I would try multiplayer. I made my online character tried going onto server only to have a message telling me I need a serial number. So I went onto google and looked for some cdkey websites and I bought a Mount and Blade serial key as well as getting Napoleonic Wars off of the Talesworlds website. I open up Napoleonic Wars go on to multiplayer and I get the same message so I type in my key and it works! So the next day I try go on multiplayer on native Mount and Blade Warband and I get the same serial key message so once again I type it in perfectly fine to come across a message saying 'Incorrect Serial Number'. I would deeply appreciate some help. Also I downloaded Warband from the website because I thought it might be the fact it was a demo version with a serial key.

Where did you buy your Warband serial? Are you sure it was a legitimate reseller and you didn't get a bogus key?
What is the format of the serial key that you got? (How many groups of how many digits?) A key to activate the Warband downloaded from Taleworlds.com must be 4x4 (four groups of four digits)

I bought it from cdkeyhouse.com I checked if it was legit (which It was) but I think I should have activated it on warband instead of napoleonic wars. Also it's a 4x4 key. Napoleonic wars works but I cannot do Native multiplayer only singleplayer which is bit of a let down...

I could buy another cd key then activate it on warband? I think that would work and would save a lot of hassle but I'm not exactly made of money at the moment.

CDKeyHouse's legitimacy seems suspect, but something to check:
Can you use the key to activate the game on Steam? If the site is legit and it actually is getting the keys from boxed editions of the game, then the key it has sent you is a Steam activation key (all boxed games ship with a Steam activation key, NOT a serial/cd key). You can then play in Steam or retrieve a serial/cd key from Steam's system.
