Hoping someone can answer this for me:
Helmets from antiquity are usually named from their place of discovery, or from the place where it was most commonly used, as in the case of the corinthian helmet.
The same thing does not seem to be the case with medieval helmets, example would be the kettle hat.
Anyhow, my question is this:
Is there a different terminology for the Corinthian helmet and the like? Like neck covering bronze helmet, or something like that?
It's quite difficult to come up with proper names for such items when adding them to a mod not taking place in the real mod, but rather in a fantasy setting.

Eh, I doubt there is any official alternative to simply saying "Corinthian", "Attic","Montefortino" or "Boeotian." I mean, there may have been specific names in their own era, but those are, in general, no longer available.

Nords ruled by King Ragnar, Khergits ruled by Sanjar Khan, Rhodoks ruled by King Graveth, Swadians ruled by King Harlaus, Vaegirs ruled by King Yaroglek. All those peoples live, fight, and die in the continent of Calradia. The Nords and Rhodoks field solely infantry and archers, the Swadians and Vaegirs have infantry, archers and cavalry and the Khergit field almost exclusively cavalry. No such things as "infarty" or "calvary" exist.

My idea is just to associate that helmet with your fictional Korinthos equivalent and run with it. Or associate it with a fictional unit and run with it too.
The best example on top of my mind is the pointed bascinet Gondorian folks like to wear to battle. In TLD, nobody called it a bascinet - they just went with "Gondorian Footman/Citadel Knight/Tower Guard/Swan Knight helm".

Be as basic as possible - the reason they called some helmets skull caps was, surprise, because that's what they were. Unit names, location names, look alike names (kettle, pot, whatever). People have always called things as they see them.

The same way that in general, swords were just called swords back in the day. Only in modern times do we use
fancy names
for various ones, based on anything from where they were found to the artist's whim.
