Yes, I already tried to reload an earlier savegame and continue. Same result, stuck in Zendar. I guess it's a bug and it's the finish for "dark forces". Petty, I'de hope for some fun.  :twisted: So.... don't join them

Well if you hang on to that save then maybe there's a bugfix for that bug in the next patch and you can go on, who knows?

Actually I had that same bug except I didn't fight for the dark forces. After winning the seige I entered Zendar then couldn't leave or stay on the spot. I haven't tried going back to zendar since though, so I might be able to go back and leave.

Translating this Module to english has been truly a pain.

I've completed the 134KB dialogs.csv translation.

However, I still need to finish the blasted 53KB quick_strings.csv text which is just as bad.

The Nexus mirror has stopped downloading before it's completed twice now. Anyone know if it's Nexus related or just a messed up file?

Did you try choosing a different mirror? That sometimes fixes the problem. Otherwise try to download it, and then leave the window alone and do something else. Sometimes that helps me with downloads.

Thanks for making this wonderful mod...I really-really-really enjoy it...hope to see more...the quests gave me a meaning to travel and fight...instead of just aiming for total domination...

Um...just a little problem, not sure if anyone asked about this...I like to go fight into the thick of battle--with my axe and I often got knocked out in the battlefield...I just hate it when I outnumber the enemy about 10 against 4 but when I die I just lost the battle and become a prisoner...is there a way to allow battle to continue even if I fall?

Could I use the TweakMB program to change this or will it ruin the mod? Or did I missed something to edit the mod ingame? Please help...this little annoyance had made me stopped playing this mod for some time after becoming prisoner several times in a row...yeah, I suck at fighting but I just like to go charging on foot headlong into the enemy...it gave me a sort of rush fighting multiple enemy who surrounds you on all sides...and killing them all is...satisfying...

And again, a thousand thanks for all your effort at making this mod...um about the translation...I don't mind, do your best. I'd rather have a complete work so you don't have to deal with annoying people later who missed the update and complaining/whining about incomplete work...just my own humble opinion...for the sake of your own sanity...=_=

However, if you like reading sentences that aren't like "The snow in river thank yvo go now." and prefer to read "Head towards the snowy river, that is where you must go." then it's a huge improvement...

is pretty anti-climactic, compared to the rest of the mod. I have some ideas on how to make it look cooler:

1. Make it so that the assault begins at night, it's more fitting.

2. A more improved city. The current "city" looks more like a small outpost, so I suggest making a background of the town with fires raging throughout the area.

3. More fires and smoke, basically more destruction around.

4. Maybe flaming rocks fly through the air once in a while? They don't have to do anything- just for decoration and make it seem like a massive assault is actually happening.

5. Add red fog like there was in the introductory dream.

Oh yeah, it does torture the mind. Especially when you don't want to change the original meaning. Which is difficult with this mod. For the most part, I left quite a bit of sentence structure in tact, but otherwise I've made it a bit... well, easier to read.

I'm sure the original chinese is an epic tale of awesome, but as I cannot read chinese I've only got the broken text to work with. I'm only left with 2 more files and I will be done though.

I do pretty much the same, never hardly take any damage though. But no matter how good you are (and you can always practise in Zendar) a few I can give you:

1:If you charge alone, vs footfolk, you will have about three of them right against you. You can kill them all and get the credit and xp, but the damage is more severe. If you charge with you infantry line, you won't get so many damage but in a 5:2 battle as you said you will probably get no kills.  Just sayin', your choice.
2:Alix, the armoursmith in Zendar, will give you really good armour, the type you usually get late ingame, quite early for a simple quest. You have to bring him 25 Nomad Armour. Those are easy to get from the bandits around Zendar.
3: If you charge alone, I'd advise taking a sword, a really fast sword. Hack and stab. There's no room for swings when you're all pressed together, and you do more damage if you hit the head. I had a steward sword, that was quite good. Ca 34 damage and lenght and speed just over 100. With that I could attack the enemy three times before his swing reached me. And three times was enough with a sword like that.
Only costs 4500 denars.

I won the seige and then saved. Before I went to rescue ragnar and finish the chapter I went to zendar and couldn't leave so I quit and reloaded my save game. Then I finished the chapter and since I've been back to zendar and it seems I can leave again so its all good.

I'm pretty lost currently, I'm at getting a boat and I've read back in this thread on what to do, and it still doesn't work after I beat the raiders, and dont capture them they dont lead me to their hideout so I can't get a boat. Nor does a "blue name" appear or anything deserting the battle.

What do I do, I'm hopelessly lost.
But you see bayards hole defence is based around cat pictures
Well robbing money directly was extremely difficult, because of the coins system. It used to be far easier to stop everyone's horse with a pike and demand velvet.
