Damn, I was certain Djokovic could easily reach the final and fight to win the gold but he even lost the match for bronze medal, quite disappointing really.

And well done Murray. Surprised me, you did. First by beating Djokovic and then by hammering Federer. Score! And playing for a medal in the mixed doubles too. 'Tis impressive.

Murray definitely deserved a gold medal, beating Federer was never an easy job but he really trashed him in the final.

I think Del Potro is finally back to his best. I still find it odd he has won a grand slam.  :lol:

Yeah, beating Federer like that is definitely not easy. Last time it happened was by Nadal in '08. Shame they lost the doubles, but colour me impressed.

Er, no. Simply put, they were outside. Notice how in the Wimbledon they had to put the roof on? From then on Murray lost every thing. Federer has stated he dislikes playing outside several times I believe. Something to do with the sun and wind.
