Should I build a supply wagon?
(1/1)
myname:
Hi, I am just about building a supply wagon for the first time. I've not done that before because I read about bugs (stalking supply wagon, hero lost etc) and didn't want to screw up my game.
So:
- Do supply wagons work in the latest edition? Are there still bugs? If so, how to avoid them?
- And, how can I get the most out of the wagon? How do you use your supply wagons?
Thanks!

Bugs i dunno ive been lucky enough to avoid them.
Uses well theres 2 main ones.
One is if your going on a long term campaign and or trying to starve a town you can use it to carry a huge number of non perishables supplies like bread and cheese and wheat and the like so your own men dont starve.
The second is if your gonna be a raider and your not worried about enemy lords catching you then use it to cart away the more profitable supplies and you can hit a good 6-7 villages atleast if you have good inventory management before returning to town.

A supply wagon works best when you are well into it and have a powerful army. In fighting many strings of battles wherein much of the loot is simply passed over by your eyes in favor of the defeated lord's armor alone, or battle trophies, the rest of the loot becomes automatically stored in the supply wagon -- assuming you decide to loot corpses after a battle -- allowing you to store what I believe is 96 items which you can later sell. You sell the items by going back into the camp menu and clicking "Manage Supply Wagon," assign one of your heroes to it, point to a city for it to trade with, and it automatically sells all the contents typically for about 5000 scillings and providing you a rather effortless profit thereby. Indeed the supply wagon is a rather buggy and skeptical feature in my opinion, which is why I only send it to a city when I am literally standing on the city and know the wagon would return to me moments after its vending. The thing is, even in doing this I've encountered a problem wherein the wagon was apparently selling an "unknown item" and never returned to me, causing me the need to destroy it and losing forever the companion commanding it. Shame.

Thanks, I have built one now. Useful for loot indeed, but I think I already ran into a bug: Sometimes after managing my supply wagon and the leaving, troops from the wagon are reassigned to my party, even though I didn't order that
Anyway want to sent it now on a trade run. How does that work? How can I send it to more than 1 city? How to villages? Can I choose which goods to trade with?
sir joselito:
I only use it for looting and I send it to sell the things that I can loot
