Khazar Turks werent Caucasoid, Turks were originally Mongoloid.
Well depends on the tribe. Most Turks today aren't Mongoloid like Mongols let's say
People in Turkey arent, but Uzbeks, Khazaks, Kyrgyz and Turkmen are. Turks of Turkey arent reflections of their great ancestors, Oğuz tribes mixed with Persian and Antolian peoples becoming today's Turks. They were Mongoloid until then.
Kyrgız and Kazaks are pretty Mongoloid Turkics.Turkmens and Uzbeks doesn't have very wide eyes but still you can realize it.
Orthodox Marxism, therefore, does not imply the uncritical acceptance of the results of Marx's investigations. It is not the "belief" in this or that thesis, nor the exegesis of a "sacred" book. On the contrary, orthodoxy refers exclusively to method. It is the scientific conviction that dialectical materialism is the road to truth, and that its methods can be developed, expanded, and deepened, only along the lines laid down by its founders"

Turkmens and Uzbeks are mostly Mongoloid, there are Caucasians amongst them thats because the area was homeland to Iranians and Tajiks before Turks settled there. Same goes for Uighurs who settled in Tocharian homeland.

As far as I know, the Khazars had quite a lot of trade built up between them and the Kievan Rus', their armies would probably be similar-looking and their tactics probably not that diverse from one another. Considering that the Khazars lived just down the river from the Rus', the trade between the people's would have been a very significant factor in their income. If you pick up a history textbook on the Rus' you will be certain to find the Khazars in there.
