They just told me they notified removed the key from the abusers account, which they immediately froze. They then said they will contact Valve to suggest actions based upon keys purchased using valves software....YAY
Wow. I'd be freezing your account since you can't be trusted to keep the software equivalent of ten bucks safe. What you did was the equivalent to leaving your cd-key lying on a park bench for someone to walk off with, and then have the audacity to complain when somebody did just that. If you did something this stupid with your credit card number, the bank would tell you you're an idiot and promptly ban you from getting another card, and put a black mark on your credit record for good measure.
Though I'm confused by one thing: surely Steam should pick up that the cd-key is already in use and refuse to download NW when you punch it in (else one key could "power" multiple copies on multiple accounts). That or they didn't activate the key through steam which means the only thing they (Paradox) can do is ban the cd-key. Where's this nonsense about freezing someone's (Steam) account come from?
Or have they frozen your account? That would be a godsend!
