How you guys managed to turn a thread about guy asking how to play a character that looked like him into a pulpit for your fringe theories regarding black nationalism and historiography is completely beyond me. Why do you even care what he does with his game?

It feels very much like you're using the excuse of historical accuracy to push some strange ideas that have nothing to do with the question the OP asked. He's explicitly stated that he doesn't care if black people were present in Dark Ages Britain, and that he just wants to play as somebody that looks like him. It's understandable that the devs didn't put a black skin option in, and it's understandable that the OP would like one for his own reasons.
It's nothing to throw a hissy fit about, and if you want to throw around theories relating to "black nationalism" and "liberals", go put on your tin foil hats and start your own thread somewhere else.
