I was working on the selected maps today, edited them all to fit to our quality and fixed some bugs on them, but apperanlty I accidenetly overwrote the files later... (Could have killed myself for that, it took me about 4 hours to fix all this maps...)

Sooo, I will have to do it again tomorrow... Sorry!

I live in mortal fear of that, Olafson.  I back up each map on Dropbox shortly after finishing a session of editing on them, but I still lost a bunch of terrain smoothing edits once somewhere, somehow.

In addition to that, we will also be including some new maps in the patch which are not related to the contest.

We have already reviewed all the maps, the Top 10 will be announced in a few days once Vince gets back.

After a (long) meeting with the team, we decided the best way for the community to see the maps and vote for the best is to just put the best maps inside the next patch and run them on the official servers.
Then we will put up the poll for people to vote.

So bare with us whilst we finish the patch

Might putting up a server that only cycles through the top 10 maps be a good idea?  There are a lot of good maps that virtually never get any play time because players repeatedly vote-select only a handful.
