One question about this contest:
Are we allowed to use custom props for the maps, or do we have to stick to the original ones?
Original ones I believe. Using custom props gives you an unfair advantage.

We will not allow people to use custom props for copyright reasons as well as other performance related issues.

So yes, please stick to the original ones in the editor.

i think it's too less time to get enough maps for the contest.

It is indeed, we'll try to do something about it.

Don't be disappointed if the deadline remains the same though.

It depends on what you're trying to create, certain maps took even 3 weeks to finish and polish which are already implemented in the DLC.

the fort maps (witch Aldemar is making) are quite some time consuming. So I see what he means. But for me aswell the maps I make are highly 7hours or so.

Objects are moving too slow, terrain editing is too hard and repairing mistakes takes hours. I don't know what object does the certain thing and so on.  I have a castle completed but it looks like some medieval shit not suitable for Napoleonic Wars ....
