Warband and Napoleonic Wars causing computer to crash/overheat.

Warband or any mod thereof causes my computer to crash/overheat. What happens is this. The screen freezes, sound stutters, and nothing stops it. I literally HAVE TO hard shut down my computer.
YES. I tried alt-f4, ctrl-alt-delete...etc. please....
This happens for NO OTHER GAME that I play. Skyrim, Red Orchestra 2, Gmod, Arma 2. NONE of these crash or overheat my computer.

It doesn't only happen in big servers or line-battles. It happens intermittently whenever playing NW or Native.

This is bad for my computer. I really hope I can get some assistance on this.

I already posted my LOG file from after this happened. Apparently it indicated nothing wrong.


PLEASE help. I have a regiment I am very active in and a computer that is NOT disposable.

Download a program called SpeedFan.

Run NW for 5 minutes or so and let me know what temps it shows.

Run it in Direct x7?
Clean your filters from dust?

Especially the latter should fix it.

Always run in dx7 because warband doesn't support newer Nvidia drivers for dx9. My vent is clean.

I will get the program and post a temp tonight.
