Editing Arrow Drop?

I've rebooted Warband today and dropped into the vanilla game only to find that the Crossbows and Arrows have a lot of drop to them; so much so that the bolt never actually aims at the middle of the crosshair - it launches an inch below and only drops lower.  I seem to remember the arrows flying a bit straighter than that in the past.


Is there any way to edit the velocity or drop rate of arrows and bolts?  I cannot seem to find any posts on the subject.
