Why isnt it any musician regiments in..

I've contemplated forming a Drum Korps (Korps, being prussian), as I don't find interest in regular play anymore. I doubt LB organizers would allow my 10ish guys in to just play though.

Edit: Now that I think of it, walking musicians was the only reason I bought NW

Me too xD It was on sale... It had musicians.. I was not interested in playing as a Soldier or Cavalry unit at all. I just want to play my Fife.

Well, as the other already said: It wouldnt make sence to play with musicians in Commander Battle because the Commander Battle game mode is made for learning how to command good in combat I would say (atleast thats my opinion ). And learing how to play with musicians isnt that useful.

Yeah, everything I liked in MM was taken out... except musicians

All I ask is for a color in each regiment someone chooses!

During a siege as the defenders, I'm not exactly overjoyed when we're losing partly thanks to a group of 5 or 6 musicians standing there playing instruments, if those 5 or 6 guys were firing muskets or otherwise engaging it may help tip the scales.

However, I would love to see musicians in a line battle and maybe Commander mode, would add to the realism and historical accuracy, in my opinion.

What a silly idea... an entire regiment of musicians... what is this, marching band?

However, on the topic of musicians (but off-topic as far as commander battles go...), I would quite enjoy it if the linebattle rules were amended so that each regiment is required to have a musician (of their choice) and a standard bearer. Would add a lot of immersion.

A music regiment is a cool idea but surely, you cannot expect people to stick to picking only 1-2 musicians. Humanity fails a lot at these things.
so imho it's better not to have em.

Imaging Napoleon sending in a flying column where every company is just a hundred fifers and drummers in rank and file, all playing out of sync as they huff and puff across the field, cannon balls slicing through them as they near the enemy line. Conversely, the column's musical section is nothing but fusiliers.

If a regiment wanted to be REALLY historical they could have 2 sets of players in the front spread out with a giant line behind them.
