Latest announcement. Hello chaps,the team at the moment is desperately short of good modellers. I am learning when I have time but what we really need is a good,passionate and skilled modeller interested in the revolution period. If your interested message either myself or Bravo2255. All help is much appreciated.



This is the mod for the American Revolution,we plan to make a mod biased to neither side of the conflict and units not only that you will recognise,but also ones that were relevant to the conflict. Factions will be Great Britain and the Continental army but there will also be french units and loyalist American units within each faction.

Line Infantry (centre and grens):
23rd
47th (Short Land Pattern BB)
71st (Short Land Pattern BB)
NY tories (1756 Long Patterns. Same principle than with 23rd: Variability)
Brunswick Line (Prussian musket. Maybe we can decrease melee damage, but increase the melee buff when near officer or flag)
Marines (I would put this class as specialists. Short Land Pattern BB. Lock them to naval maps only)

Light/Rifle:
Jaegers (Jaeger Rifle and Hirschfanger sword)
40th LF (Short Land without bayonet and hatchet. The idea is making them vulnerable to cavalry, yet not too bad against infantry.)

Elite:
Foot Guards (Short Land Pattern BBs. Better melee damage via skills)

Cav:
Brunswick dragoons (Prussian carbine with bayonet, Prussian dragoon sword)
16th Light dragoons (Brown Bess carbine without bayonet, more accurate than Prussian car, heavy dragoon sword)
Brit Legion tories (Brown Bess carbune w/bayonet, light dragoon saber. Somewhat in between the Light and Brunswick 'goons. More accurate than the Brunswicks, better melee than 16th)
Queen's Rangers tories (Light dragoon sword, way faster horse)

Spec:
Royal Arty (12lb cannon or howitzer)
Navy Arty (can operate a cannon, but can't spawn it)

Regiment reservations.

The problem with regiment reservations.
As this mod has now merged with Bravo 2255's mod a certain issue has arose. That of reserved regiments,a few people have asked about this now and I will answer the issues of reserving a regiment. Now,as this mod is part of Napoleonic wars all the regiments for Napoleonic wars are by de facto eligible for being regiments in this game and as such if you reserved a regiment for Bravo's mod I cannot guarantee it will remain reserved. If someone makes one for NW whilst this is in development then they have unfortunately beaten you to it. But in the end the biggest and most influential regiment wins. So if you do wish to reserve a regiment for this mod,you must first check if that regiment exists in NW and then ensure they won't mind if you use the same regiment in this mod. If they say no then your regiment cannot be reserved.
One last thing,you can have the same regiment as another if it is in another timezone. So if the 33rd exists as an EU regiment it can also exist as another regiment if it is NA based.

My only modding experience is Crusader Kings 2 and a little Rome Total war. I'd be willing to learn how to code Mount and Blade and I hear texturing isn't all that difficult.

Alternatively I can be the PR guy
