No. The problem is that you are not one of the "pubs" and yet somehow get offended by this. I lead the pubs on Tuesdays and Fridays (along with some other notables like Gooner and Commissar Thurne) and the "regiment" revels in self deprecating humor. Silent Matt is probably one of the most well known pubbers on Tuesdays and Fridays as he is always carrying our colors with honor. If he wants to call us scum, he has that right, he is one of us...

You don't have the right to be offended until you are one of the proud pubs.

Join a regiment, they are fun, and you can Just go to PUB servers when your bored.

Public play is usually pretty disorganized. If you really want the linebattle experience, you'll need to join a regiment. Pub play can be fun though, especially in siege, where the defenders sort of work together with the building and manning of defences and stuff.

The monday public line battle has easily been going a year but is majoritily forgotten by people already in large regiments who don't attend.

Also there is no problem with asking a regiment if you can tag along with them for a line battle, they may try and coax you into joining but i'm pretty certain if they are friendly enough they'll let you tag along as an invite.

You could just join regiments as an invite so you can drink from the same cup as everyone else without the feeling of being tied down.
Its a good way to keep your options open.
