I don't know if this information is somewhere or whether it has been done before but from my looking I've never found it, or if I did find it it was all separated, so I decided to put it in here for the people that haven't figured it out or aren't history buffs that know from history. Any information or discrepancies you can inform me of would be greatly appreciated! Classes-
As far as classes go each regiment has:
-Ranker=Your basic troop. For infantry they will have muskets, rifles, or in some cases musketoons, and as a secondary sometimes sabre briquet or a sword bayonet(riflemen). These are the main troops everyone plays.
-Ensign(UK)/Eagle Bearer(France)/Sergeant(Riflemen)/Colour Bearer(Prussia, Austria, Russia)=These guys carry the flag/colour/eagle(except sergeant) for the regiment. They also carry a sabre briquet for combat. Provides buff. (When flag is held.)
-Captain=Leaders during the line battle. They carry a pistol, spyglass, and an officer sword(or light cavalry sabre, highlander officer sword, or something of this nice long sword type). Provides buff.
-Musicians=These include Fifers, Pipers, Drummers, and Hornists. They carry instruments to play as well as a short sword/sabre briquet/highlander officer sword. Provides buff. (When playing.)
-Ranker=Has the horse and sword of the regiment, as well as a lance, cavalry musket, or cavalry carbine if it applies.
-Sergeant=Same as ranker, as well as colours, unless it's a lancer unit, then it loses the lance for the colours.
-Officer=Has the same horse and sword as regiment, but also has pistol and spyglass(therefore no lances or cav musket/carbine). Provides buff.
-Bugler/Trumpeter=Has same horse and sword as regiment, as well as a trumpet/bugle. Provides buff.(When playing.)
-Ranker=Only one with a ramrod, so they are necessary to load the cannon. Also has cannon lighter to fire and sabre briquet for self defense.
-Artillery Train=Spawns with either cannon or howitzer attached to their horse, must place it somewhere for team to use. Also has cannon lighter to fire it, and sabre briquet for self defense.
-Officer="Spots" for the arty. Using his spyglass he lets the whoever is aiming arty know where they hit and how to adjust. Also has cannon lighter to fire it themselves and artillery officer swords for self defense. Provides buff.
-Sapper=Builds and tears down defenses. Has spade and construction hammer for digging/building, but also has sapper sword/ short sword for combat and sapper axe for tearing down defenses.
-General=L'Empereur Napoleon Bonaparte(France), Generalfeldmarschall Gebhard Von Blucher(Prussia), Karl Philipp, Furst zu Schwarzenberg(Austria), Feldmarshal Mikhail Kutuzov(Russia), Arthur Wellesley, Duke of Wellington(UK). These guys are basically glorified one of a kind heavy cavalry. They do provide a buff, but otherwise they just have a sword, heavy horse, and spyglass. Provides buff.
There are a few different regiment types that can totally change your gameplay style.**
(CAUTION! SOME UNCONFIRMED INFORMATION!)**
-Line Infantry= Basic infantry. Decent with musket and melee.
Slightly faster than line infantry, and slightly more accurate with musket, can also sometimes choose to spawn with rifle/musketoon over a musket depending on the regiment. Melee is slower/does less damage and has less health than line.
Same accuracy as light infantry. Same accuracy as line infantry.** More health** and faster/stronger melee than line infantry.
-Riflemen=Spawns with rifle, which is more accurate but has a longer reload. Much more accurate compared to muskets, but doesn't have a bayonet, making this a bad choice for those bad at melee, considering how integral melee is to this game as well as how much easier bayonets are.
-Light Horse= Light horses, light sabres, and cavalry carbines/muskets.
-Hussar=Light Cavalry without guns.
-Lancer=Has lances, light swords, and light horses.
-Dragoon=Medium horses with cavalry carbines/muskets and a light sword.
-Heavy Cavalry=Heavy horses and heavy sabres/swords.
-Carabinier=French heavy cavalry.
I don't have the # stats for these weapons, but I'll do my best at describing them. (Range refers to both bullet drop and the damage drop over distance. The longer a bullet goes the less damage it does. Also, we all know bullets travel in arcs, some have less linear travels than others)
-Musket=Basic gun. Has bayonet, good damage/range/reload. **Highlanders have longer bayonets.** Approx. 12.7 second reload.
-Rifle=Great accuracy/range/damage but slow reload. **Less damage then musket over range** Approx. 15.9 second reload.
-Cavalry Musket=Almost as accurate as a musket but with a faster reload. Approx 11.4 second reload.
-Cavalry Carbine=Much more inaccurate than musket but much faster reload. Less damage and range. Approx. 11 second reload.
-Musketoon=Napoleonic equivalent of a shotgun. Very inaccurate, but good damage at close range. Be careful of the long reload though. Approx. 16.1 second reload.
-Pistol=Fast reload, and you can even reload while moving. But you can only carry 19 cartridges, does a lot less damage(only getting one hit kills to the head), and TERRIBLE RANGE(aiming straight it hits the ground between 30-50 feet) combined with bad accuracy makes it more of a lol gun than anything. Approx. 7 second reload.
A lot of these weapons are different mainly in look and style, while their stats almost identically match another weapon. Any weapons I think are in these similar groups I have numbered the same. (THESE AREN'T LISTED BY RANK!)
-1-Sabre Briquet=Sometimes given to infantry, but mostly used by artillery and colour guard. Affectionately named the "butter knife" by the community because of how bad it is.
-2-Sword Bayonet=Used by riflemen. **Slightly better than the sabre briquet** Some riflemen still prefer to use their "club" (rifle in melee mode) over this blade.
-2-Sapper Sword=Very similar to the short sword.
-2-Short Sword=Very similar to the Sword Bayonet. Given to some sappers/engineers.
-3-Highland Officer Sword=Given to highland officers, ensigns, drummers, and pipers. Very similar to officer sword, but with a fancier red handle. **The only regiment to give their ensigns and musicians a better sword than the sabre briquet is the Highlanders.**
-3-Carabineer Sword=Longer swords than sabres.
-4-Light Cavalry Sabre=Curved blades, shorter than group 3.
-4-Line Cavalry Sabre=
-4-Heavy Cavalry Sabre=
-Lance=Great damage and range, but can't block. Usually kills in two hits. Not suggested for infantry combat because of its lack of block.
-Pike=Decent damage and rage.
-Sapper Axe=Okay damage and ridiculously slow swing times make this weapon near useless in combat. It was made to be used for tearing down doors and defensive structures set up by enemy sappers/engineers.
-Musket Bayonet=Most used weapon. Up stab and down stab. Usually one hit kills, occasionally doesn't. **Highlanders have longer bayonets.**
