In Mod Options it seems the damage bonus for backstabs and stat reductions for falling battle have been tucked into the same option.

Why would you do that?!
My favorite part of the mod (bonus backstab damage)  is now inseperable from the feature I least like about the mod (stat reductions from getting knocked out)

I dont understand well that you mean. By menu limt we have join this:

Click to Enable Battle Wounds, Special Hits and Bleeding

are you talking of this menu?

You use battle wounds but no special hits?
There is a menu limit and we have integrate both options, however, if players like one and other no, we can look (suggestions) for integrate in other menu without problems.

It seems Buy land  does not work well. I loaded my game and I already had plenty of money to collect all around britain (few million), even though I had bought no land. I tried to collect them and just throw them arround, so I can start clean, but I noticed that my assets still increase, even without owning land.

Also from what I see, I think it is too lucrative - an acre repays itself completely in 5 month...?! I wish we had this kind of agriculture nowerdays (even with all the funding) :) Can I disable the buy land possibility?

Wow strarted fresh and everything i still cant find moneylenders or have option to buy land and i down loaded everything again today from steam and link. is this feature still off??!

Are you sure you have v. 1.394? It's written in red numbers at the top of the main menu screen.

You mean that you do rich too fast? What time you think it is need for do more balance?

Thanks for asking! First thing is a bug or save game incompatibility -> When I upgrade warband, install the new version of the mod and load my old game (1.391) -> I get the list of the cities and how many acres are available. Although I don't own any land anywhere, I have money to collect or to pay. Usually the total sum is about 2,5 millions in all cities around the map!! When I collect them I see that I receive additional rent even without owning any land in all cities. That is probably save game incompatibility. I havent started new game yet. I just reloaded 1.391, because I play very interesting game now :)

About the balance. If it is land for agriculture, you would collect production only few times in a year, depending on crops. As I understand your concept, the land is rented to poor farmes to work it, so they will be able to pay their rent when they get their production on the market, not every two weeks. Also I think it would be normal to get back your initial investment within at least two years. Also prices now does not seem to vary at all. You get your money back after 5 months no matter what! That is way too good investment for modern days. I don't think you would have such security of investment during the dark ages especially. Here are just some thoughts, that might (or might not) be interesting:

1. get payed only 2 or 3 times a year, depending on crops they were growing in Britain during the middleages
2. each year your earnings are multiplied by random koefficient (good harvest, bad harvest, bandit attacks, war...)
or if possible to make it a little bit like normal enterprise, that produces grain, fruits, flax and sells it according to the prices in town. It would be fun to make a closed cycle production: grain and bread, flax and linen...
3. maybe one could buy houses for renting.. in that case it could be more like the current system

PRevius versions to 1.394 had a issue with buy land feature, it is possible that your bug is by use old savegame.

About balance, problem is that a game in warband take 2 to 4 years of game life, if we get income two time to year, player will need 5 years for recovery inversion (with high prosperity). One option could be give income one time each month.

In dark ages, farmers gave part of their harvest (or crafting work) to their lord each year (no money until where I remember), but it is more easy for a game do it money and we can divide it in 12 months (rent). Suggestions here are welcome.

About random events, it is nice idea. Actually, a lot of events work over villages and towns prosperity yet, and prosperity change income that you get by your land.

Sup guys. I have a question. Wtf is 'switch to/from noswing weapons' script? I know that there are over 200 additional lines of weapons without swing animation in item_kinds1. And last time in the middle of fight I took a sword that had only thrust animation without any swings, lol. So I can't imagine the true purpose of this feature except for the inconvenience.

How? swords have swing hit.
