Poland is much worse than Russia or Ukraine when it comes to this shit.

I know.
"I done wrestled with an alligator. That's right. I have wrestled with an alligator. I done tussled with a whale. I done handcuffed lightning, thrown thunder in jail. That's bad. Only last week I murdered a rock. Injured a stone. Hospitalized a brick. I'm so mean I make medicine sick. Fast...fast...fast. Last night I cut the light off in my bedroom, hit the switch, was in the bed before the room was dark...fast."

I thought Ukraine played really well, Kobrag, I'm not sure which game you were watching  :P

They were constantly up at England and had a lot more possession. I think they only reason England won is that Hart is one hell of a keeper, and apparently UKR's keeper was fourth choice, he certainly wasn't the greatest.

England newer tactics of a more defensive play are much, much more effective, you can really see their drilling when they get back in a good formation, though in tonight's game Ukraine managed to distract a few players off to the side and leave gaps.

I've not seen Italy play yet, but I think that match will be pretty close.

I agree. Ukraine played well (though I only watched the 2nd half). England with a lucky goal and an even luckier get away from the Ukranian un-goal. Though to be fair, he was offside when the pass to him was played. Guess you can call justice. Rooney looked really rusty for most of it, though I guess that is to be expected. Hope he doesn't get the full 90 mins against Italy though.

Parker was awesome, defensively, as was Ashley Cole. Thought Gerrard was impressive, again. Few mistakes here and there, but generally made amends. Especially with his 3rd assist of the tournament so far.

You're gonna have to play much better against Italy to win the game. No matter how Ukrainians were good, they're really not comparable with Italy. And I still think that Rooney is the best you've got right now. Lucky goal or not, that guy is always in the right place at the right time and has a perfect execution.

Nah, Rooney is overrated, he always under performs outside the club scene, leave him back home and out of it, let Carrol play.

Revenge for the world cup.
Let me take that post to its only logical conclusion, ja?
This goal was revenge for the world cup, which was an injustice so grand words simply can't describe, ja? The Wimbledon goal on the other hand, which happened to be in the final game and not in some poopy early round, was just a minor error, ja? And even if it had been a real goal, it was revenge for the war, ja?

This started as a joke and now I'm pissed off for real. Shit.
Completely agree. I follow Brit media, and it's ridiculous how sports journos (and most of them are of tabloid-level quality) try to make everything a historical grudge. Then England fans parrot those wise observations.
Englanders are still likable for their often rude and humorous chants, like yesterday's "We are not going home yet", a good comment on the game.

Also, are all the nationalistic fucktards out yet? Apart from the English, but they're not all that bad compared to the retards who are already gone.
Poland is gone, Russia is gone, Ukraine is gone. Good.
Greece should be gone on Friday, and while not in the retard nationalistic category, they still deserve all the scorn they can get for trying to make the game against Germany a political affair.

How bad is Croatia when it comes to this? Not that it matters anymore.
They are pretty bad, as could be expected. Those flares on the field are nothing compared to the mindless fights they get into when their Dinamo is visiting some unsuspecting town in the CL qualifiers.

However, even German fans were noted for flying something-Nazi banners and throwing paper on the field. What's with the paper? Did they try to inflict paper cuts on the opposition?

Edit: I'm ashamed to admit, but I'm looking forward to Greece-Germany. It looks like the perfect grudge match with incredible timing - not so much football, but ridiculous fouls, red cards and pitch invasions.

Which revenge for the world cup? World cup just fixed the error, I mean England was unable to beat even Algeria, then after Slovenia (who defeated Algeria) they used snipers (slovenian players that falls without any reason) and aliens (caribbean Guybrush Threepwood scored the decisive goal) and won. After FIFA discovered that Capello would do everything to win and decided to kick him from World Cup....after all instead of England playing for the country we seen Capello's army playing his private war.

What do you mean 'pollute'?

France winning. Spain should go home after the defeat against Switzerland. Winning a cup mean you are the strongest in that year (should be in that four years but is ideal) not you are the strongest in that day but the day after even the weakest team can defeat you.

Aye. They have a nice humour about a lot of those things. Even the retarded aspects.
Which, like I said, makes them not as bad as some others in my eyes.

Not in international matchs, mate. We do a pretty good job of keep those ****s locked up in our local leagues.
The police has good experience with stopping that type of folk of going to international games.

From the Greek players, maybe. Some of them actually said some pretty stupid shit already.
You'd be hard pressed to find someone over here who actually hates the Greek though. Well apart from some tabloid jizz gobbling lower class scum, but those are thankfully rare and get bored too quick to see anything through. Which is to say, I'd be really surprised if the German fans or players are going to be particularly aggressive right from the beginning.
On the contrary, I wouldn't be too surprised if at least the players are going to be extra careful, or at least get the instruction to do so.
Looking forward to the bullshit the commentator is going to tell more than anything else.

But he hasn't been good at international level for a while. At the minute we have 5 different goalscorers, all with 1 goal. We can still use Walcott from the bench (he is fast, and will be difficult for teams to play against late in the match). I honestly think Young should be on the bench too. He hasn't been good at all. Carroll is also useful, as it gives us anothe roption up front, since he is likely to get anything that goes up in the air.

So far, the most prominent reaction I've noticed is people facebook-posting the Monty Python Sketch and feeling all witty and sophisticated over it. Wellen seems right - people are extra careful not to provoke even more grudges from the greek side.
