Nope, no other downloads generally required.  Only if you're having issues would you need to grab a fresh copy of Warband itself.

You might wish to have some snacks and a change of clothes ready though, because you might be playing for awhile!

Really pretty minor, but the Vaegir Butcher's Cleaver has a reach of 110, though when measuring the model in openBRF, it really should be 90. I noticed this because I'm quite good at dodging NPC errant swings when they don't have the reach, but yet kept getting caught by those Vaegir C7 troops in sieges. I understand it might be a balance issue to adjust the weapon's stats, since its meant to be used as a cavalry sword, but if it really must be 110 then it shouldn't be too hard to stretch the mesh.

Minor, I know! Just sharing my findings!
I just took this funny little RPG personality test... I really don't understand how people get crap like "Vampire".

Yeah a lot of the weapons have the wrong length set. Shields also have a similar issue but aren't that obvious until you try to shoot somebody's obviously exposed legs at close range only to have it land square in the middle of their tiny shield.

MY Game (I'm using expanded) keeps crashing when ever I go to the courtyard of a castle, When I enter a large battle, when I enter a sea battle, and when I meet the Robber in the beginning merchant quest. My game also rarely crashes radomly when I enter a market

I was a knight in Count Meltors service, we were camping out in Ryibelt when he deserted Swadia and went Sarranid for some reason. Freelancer told me I deserted and now I am trapped in his castle. It has been captured by Nords and then Swadians but I am still trapped inside. I am not listed as a prisoner, only as some one stationed there. Retiring did nothing.

I am using the expanded version.

Known issue, no fix right now. The only thing you can do is reload a previous save. They'll fix it in the next version.

Yeah I'm paranoid about bugs too. I have at least 6 save slots (at one point I was using all 9) that I rotate around every few in-game days, just so I can roll back to something in case something weird like that happens.

If you want to keep some older characters you can back-up the saves outside of the game anyway (found in "Documents\Mount&Blade Warband Savegames\"), so no need to be sentimental about save slots.

No difference to the native economy system (unless you are using the diplomacy options). Some of the item modifiers can lead to lower/higher prices than what native offers, but enterprises are unaffected by that. Unless you buy lots of the raw materials with the worst modifier at a place where its already cheap, that would probably save you some money.

Sorry if this is a known issue, but I noticed an odd inconsistency with fief tax rates. The first time I changed them the list was: Very Low, Low, Normal, High, Very High.

After a few days, I returned and decided to raise the taxes a wee bit only to notice that the options had become: None, Average, High

Never happened to me. Does it change back to the original 5 options?

So what the hell, i enlisten in King Harlaus army, and that bastard got captured!! Now i have this stupid "report back to harlaus or we murder your family" kinda quest, and i cannot complete it without freeing that looser king?! So lame. Anyway to fix this? I mean they seriously cant expect some poor filthy linemen to free nations king from his dungeon just to report back to being cannon fodder LOL!

Also it must be a bug, that always the nation i start and join with, looses! Swadia is being raped atm. Or is it just Swadia  :?:

So halp pls. And great mod ;) Love it

No bug, but you'll likely see that quest change and give you alternatives, yes.

From the testing I've done, yes it reverts back to the other list of options each time you alter the tax rate.
