TWking you have to kill me in game to give me advice. I killed you atleast 10 times and you killed none. But really I have to press f to initiate a duel, thanks i dont know that. And Maboobs when I release my bayonet into my opponents face nothing happens he continues penetrating my guts.... :D

Well that's what I'm telling you. Yes, it's pretty retarded that planting a spiky thing in someones face can just "bounce" off, but it's the way the melee works :P

60+ is bad

lol? I have seen plenty of decent players with way more then 60 ping. I don't think it is bad until around 110.
Until you go up against someone who's proficient in melee. Then you'll see high ping is a problem.

Uh, I consistently play with 70-80 ping just fine. It's 100+ that's a problem.

the melee in M&B is bad online, too many players that are very professionals and noobs dont get a chance. however, it is better against bots in the SP campaign or online bots.

I'd personally say that 200 plus is were is gets annoying as that is when you can actually notice it.
 
I play with 180 on American linebattles and still pull good scores. :)

First of all i have never seen you.
secondly to the people who are new(or have computers like i do) 60+ is probably bad, but not always
for me , and because i have never seen you before(includes in the forums) I would would say what a new person's ideal ping is.



when i get around 80 it stutters for me and at 100 it stutters badly, but that maby becuase of props etc

Stubs have increased with the downstab because the bayonet is longer than in MM and so you don't need to be as close to an enemy to deal a stub.

Any ping of above 30 I will put you at a disadantage, but once it goes over 70 your goose is cooked so to speak.

The thing that he's experiencing is not piercing the enemy becaue of the fact that the overhead hitbox is at the muzzle of the musket and not the tip of the bayonet.

Well that would explain the weird hang times for the stab no? Would also explain why in game we see the overhead being shorter than the low stab but in an editing software it seems it is actually longer.
