The Sabre Briquet is an amazing tool which used in the right circumstances can make or break the outcome of your match. I encourage all the members of the 1er Grenadiers to practice with the sabre Briquet as well as the bayonet, so come the time you are locked in such a evenly matched melee fight you can whip out the briquet and school the ****** cause he has no idea you are going to take the sword to him.

You're totally right ! I hate fighting people who are good with the sabre briquet. This weapon is so fast, and it's much more difficult to chamber. I don't think it's a good weapon in group fights, but when it's a duel, it can really surprise your opponent.

Look, I know it's realistic and all, that the saber is useless.


But I'd really like it to be useful. It's really funny when you're in the duel server, you'll use the bayonet, and you'll think "holy shit, this guys pretty good at blocking."


Next thing you'll be practicing the sword and the dude can't block for shit. It's a real shame the saber is so useless because I could rack up kills quickly in public play if I switched to it and just spammed left swing as the clueless nabs keep blocking down

That isn't at all useless, in a lb you can form a square and use the brace to kill cav, 1 on 1 its useless but together its good

What would be the point of going in there? There is no basis that the people in there are using, except that cavalry were better in MM. Well, perhaps that's not what the basis should be? When there are no facts and all opinions there is little point in arguing it out, because all it is going to do is anger people. For now, they can stay in there and moan and groan, at least it doesn't affect the rest of the community.

(Wish I could turn off my mod flag for certain posts, this is my own opinion entirely and not that of FSE, Vincenzo, or anyone who hasnt been tested for multiple personality disorder.)
