Mount&Blade: Warband > Town Watch - Warband Tech Support

This is a weird glitch

SO this is a trans-game glitch ive now discovered for myself (not as a whole because i'm not THAT narcissistic ) but here what happens I play either fire and sword or warband and it works totally fine. then I save and leave to either go to work or hang out with a friend or get something to eat,etc. then I come back and load up my game and this is what i see. no other lords exist anymore,no caravans are around,my party has disappeared,and my character is back to level one with diminshed stats (F&S starts you at 7 in each but somehow it went down to 5 :shock:) and all the skills and pros are diminished too. the worst part is he loses all his equipment and hair some how and all that is left is a bald creepy hulk pants wearing creep. no this as i stated has happen in both warband and F&S but I have no clue as to why. if anyone knows why or has had it happen to them... discuss  :lol:

EDIT: i almost forgot that on the map screen my character is also for some reason on foot instead of a horse  :?

Don't think this has anything to do with the fact you are playing 2 games Warband & WFaS, unless you tried to copy the save from one to the other which won't work.

If you didn't do that, you are describing a savegame that got totally broken somehow. I've not found anyone who knows how that happens...devs included...but the bottom line is that save is toast. Hopefully you have a recent save you can fall back on OR you haven't saved after discovering this problem. If you haven't saved, you'll find a backup of the last working save in your Documents\M&B <Game> Savegames\<Module Name>\ folder called last_savegame_backup.sav Copy that file and then rename it sgXX.sav with XX being 00-08 depending on which slot you want the game in.

oh I just found it in both games so I thought it would be fair to comment.

well thankfully the games weren't very far when they went all derperific on me but I was just like what the heck is going on?! but ill definitively back-up my very far warband file now thanks :D

also I can provide pics if you need any to further analyze the issue without my word only
