Seconded. Played the hell out of it, and I enjoyed the game a lot, but that moment was still the climax of my experience playing Fallout 3.

Yeah, most fond moment in that game. Large part due to the fact that it was the first Fallout game in ages.

Thirded. I don't think I'll ever forget that moment. Immediately afterwards stumbling upon an entirely destroyed town. I absolutely loved just wandering around the wastes and salvaging stuff. I'd just read The Road by Cormac McCarthy and felt like this was more or less what the man and the child had experienced.

Anyone who hasn't seen these machinima yet and who still has a fond heart for Fallout 3 should watch the Wasteland Survival-series. Think there's 5 of them and they're the best machinima I've ever seen. The last episode, Springvale Elementary is probably my favourite.

If it's any better hours spent on Fallout 3=300 or so while hours spent on the first two are easily over 1000. And the beginning of Fallout 1 leaves you feeling so out of place and lost, loved it.

Super overrated trailer. Slow motion backwards trailer with moosic. Nothing special there. And the kid was just added for shock value.
