Are you seriously asking this?
Why wouldn't he be allowed to ask this? I think it's quite a legitimate question as there are still some members in the community who prefer MM.
I agree.
I have played MM hardcore (around 3,000 hours) as a hussar, now I'm playing NW but I think MM was wayyy better.
Not because my unit has been nerfed, it hasn't, but because the game doesn't feel like the good old MM.
Moving to NW is like starting to play With Fire and Sword: it feels like a game that has the potential to attract a lot of new players, but it killed MM for some of the veterans.
I know I can still play MM, but the servers are scarcely populated, so I doubt I'll do it.
The comments about the graphics are just funny, only casual gamers care about that stuff, what matters to me is the heart of the game, and things like the old overhead bayonet attack animation were a core aspect of the game, they can't remove it like that...
They also made some unbelievable changes that have the only aim of preventing me from playing the game my own way:
-removed FoV changer option (it was + and - on the numpad);
-removed the zoom option;
-decreased character turn speed.
So, just like every other videogames dev company, they dumbed it down in order to reach a larger audience.
An evidence of it, is a recent post from Vincenzo, who said that in MM it was too easy for the veterans to kill the new players...so what? Imho MM had a competitive aspect, at least I played it as a competitive game, not like a re-enactment of historical battles.
Realism is a very bad thing in a game that to some people is competitive.
So imho
MM is the best game I ever played, NW is something like With Fire and Sword.
