Commander Mode; Arty bots

After searching through the forums for the past hour and a half I'm finally deciding to post this myself.

Is there a way to get the bots under your command to use the cannons? Reload, and such, I don't really care if they can't aim. The reason I ask this is because it's basically one person (Unit commander) that is reloading and firing the cannon, while having a strong regiment of bodyguards. Not to mention how powerful those men are, seeing as they can hold their own against cav when they should easily fall to them.

As far as I know, the arty bots are useless for artillery and in commander battles, they use guns or some melee thing I guess? I know for sure that they don't have the AI for artillery and their rocket ammunition is non functional.

They are your spare lifes and anti cavalry force.

Yep, they don't use artillery or rockets. I can kind of understand it, but it's still kind of a letdown.

And don't get me started on how useless they are in sieges for practice or just to fill out empty servers when playing privately with friends. Appears any form of siege AI is totally non-existent, just like in native.

Well that sucks, cause I started a server to test commander mode out with 3 friends, one went Arty. Anyways this is disappointing, but thanks for the quick responses. I'll lock this now if I have the authority.
