 Have been working on a documentary/machinima for my media and history finals (two birds with one stone, as it were). The biggest trick to filming on MM/NW is the camera... doesn't really move like you want sometimes.

   I am going to be making a Machinma using Napoleonic Wars. It will be one 5-7 minute long video. It is going to be for a school project (My philosophy class), but don't worry. Most will not have a speaking part and I will have names disabled and all that. But I will credit you in the credits.

I already have 5-8 slots filled, out of 30.

The basic story is of this girl that sneaks into the British Military and fights on the frontline. She is found out as they are marching in a line, but then a cannon shell hits the Captain and the other men start routing, she then rallies them for a heroic last charge where she and the rest of the men die.

How does this relate to philosophy exactly? Well, we are reading Wollstonecraft's "Vindication of the Rights of Women", and we were given the option to do a creative project instead of the normal essay we do. The question I'm addressing is "How have Women's issues changed since Wollstonecraft's time? What would she think of these changes?". A big issue is the military, and I plan on addressing it with this video. In order to make the process easier, I shall be posting it to my YouTube channel.

Once that is all said and done, I'll edit the OP and title to be for all Napoleonic Wars Machinmas.

If anyone is interested please let me know. I still have a few weeks, but I need to get the filming done THIS SATURDAY (May 5th) between 12:00 PM and 6:00 PM EST. I intended to start and finish within that time selection.

I know the feeling. I've done some recording stuff in MM3 and a little in NW and I totally get what you're saying. It can be a little annoying, but I have a pretty good idea for what I want to do, and it won't require much camera movement, all of it will be more towards the end.

So basically this is going to be for a school project, and yes it'll have a storyline. Basically this girl's family is not so well off and her father wants her to go into some special services to provide money. She decides to sneak off into the Army disguised as a man, is found out, but they are ambushed by a French line or two. The Colonel is killed and everyone starts to rout. She rallies them for a gallant last charge. They all die.

Then afterwards I'll be talking about how the issue of serving in the Military has changed from Wollstonecraft's time to now.

I'd love to do a series, but with school still going on, it's kinda tough :p.

Yeah, it was a while ago, if I remember correctly I was one of those people. Aragorn was still in the 8th I think, definitly Tico, Mago and Chester. We had this one great idea we never capitalized on.

Its actually not trolling, I am really curious due to I always hated plot holes in movies. Its a serious question that I would like the director to answer.
