This game needs some sort of a hit/kill indicator.

Like a noise or graphic every time you hit someone, one in same the vein as Team Fortress 2 or Modern Warfare.  Don't tell me its absence is meant to heighten the whole immersion aspect of the game either, cuz you can see if you kill someone the Tab window or the kill log.  This would be enough if the kill log wasn't so oppressively big.

If there's one thing those AAA, "casual" games do right, it's accessibility and user experience

I just think the kill log is good enough to see if you got a kill or not. Not that hard to spot your name in it.

Also there's a sound you here when hitting someone, it's like a little blob or something. Can't really describe it.

When you hit something you get a sound. Simple as that.

It's a built-in thing in Mount and Blade. For some reason, the thumping-sound is very quiet in this mod, though.

Or you can see the guy you shot fall to the ground. :roll:

Well in this game you have a bunch of loud muskets/cannons/cheers while in Native you only had the slight whoosh of arrows and clanking swords. They should make the sound indicator a bit louder for this mod.

You guys have the kill log on?

No because this is not COD and isnt centered on K/D and leet kieels like those games IMO.Its about valiant charges to doom or glory,Holding your position wile all your team mates fall around you,Teamwork to complete your objective because 1 guy with an inaccurate musket is useless without 100 other guys with muskets.

I don't even check my kills until the end

Thats how I see it at least  :|

He's not asking for a huge ******** celebration everytime he hits something. Just a small mark to appear in the crosshair or the crosshair to turn red etc. for when he hits someone. Don't jump to conclusions.

Or you can edit the sound file for the hit detect and make it louder or different.

You hear a soft 'Thud' after you shoot, it's how i know someone survived my bloody bullet :p And sometimes i think i imagine myself hearing it... I personally feel it's better to completely miss than hit someone but have them survive it, it's infuriating :p

Also, i check the 'stats' at least once every 30 seconds because it also lets you see how your team is doing in comparison ( Numbers alive vs enemy's numbers alive )

my bad guys, i guess i never really bothered to use my xray vision to see through the smoke, or use my bat ears to hear the quietest sound in the world thanks guys for being so patient with my dullard self i should have just turned on the kill log right before every time i wanted to take a shot
