Mod Update Frequency

Hi,

This is the first time I've checked out Mount and Blade for several years, and the first time I've been able to enjoy it in multiplayer.  I just installed 1.5 this weekend and had a blast playing it, however shortly after I decided to check out the available mods, and learned that they are unable to update until TaleWorlds releases something that helps the mod makers update their work for the new version.

It also seems like nothing has been released for 1.5.

So, my question is: Should I download and install the previous version of this app in order to enjoy some of the great mods out there, or will there be an update for/by mod authors available shortly?

As I could read from a couple of posts by some modders they'll wait for another patch to come out until they update their mods to a new version. Until then, it's best to run 1.143 version.

1.5 has only been out just over a week, give them a chance to catch up 
(but it's best to run 1.143 until they do)

Sorry, I only bought it 3 days ago, so I have no point of reference, which is why I was asking.  (Could be months for all I know!)
