Just wait some time until some random annoyingly-rich company "slightly" copies the combat mechanics and become even more annoyingly rich...

Well, it's produced by Paradox, so I am pretty sure Taleworlds must have gotten  some benefits for including their combat system in the game.

Unless it's not actually theirs, and just "inspired by" theirs, i.e. another development studio thought this was pretty damn cool and made their own version of it.
