No sound?
« on: April 22, 2012, 04:07:48 AM »
I have lost sound for all of my warband modules including Napoleonic Wars and Native after downloading the Napoleonic Wars off steam. Occasionally certain sounds do appear. such as my gunshots and a scream occasionally when I die, but apart from that, the game is silent.

Any ideas?

Could you try verifying your steam cache?

Rightmouse on M&B: Warband in your steam list, then click "properties", then "local files" then click on "Verify Integrity of local game cache"

If that diden't work, check in the options of your launcher menu that music is enabled. (checked)

Already tried verify, and its not only the music, its all game sounds except some cut in occasionally like horse clip clop.

Thanks anyway

Launch the game and then enable the music sound (you can always lower the music in-game). It worked for me.

Also, make sure your WB version is 1.551
