How about a map where both sides spawn on an island with many rowboats, and must fight small-scale naval battles on them. You could even board other peoples boats.

I've been thinking about naval battles too. Imagine an archipelago conquest map.. A dozen small islands scattered about on a huge map, with 2 main island spawns. And then imagine that as a 92nd conquest event map :P

This sounds like a really intresting idea! I'll defintly get into this.

How about making the Naval assault map a kind of siege map, since there is already quite a large advantage going to the defending team.

A map that is set on a area of the English coastline for Napoleons dream of a invasion of Britain (could be used if theres ever a campaign event)  :D one side use boats to reach the coast, maybe have them spawn on a large (static) boat with the moveable ones reachable by ladders.  :D

This for sure. After all, Boney always wanted to try it. :wink:

The first mission of age of mythology for the greeks. You must defend a harbour, if you've played it you know it looks like the capitcal C *water here*. So the attackers can take the flaks and push up a center path. It sort of looks like this but it has alot of goodies for the defenders so the attackers spawn on little islands with 2 sets of howitzers and 4 respawning rowboats.

how about a NW remake of minas tirith, it would be awsome for cannons to play that map, lots of cannons where the trebuchets should be for teh defenders, on the first wall a lot, and 6 levels to destroy and conquer!

Waterloo and Austerlitz! Now that there are both Russians and Austrians it would make sense to have an Austerlitz map. Also a waterloo map would just be fun to play on.

Historical: Aspern-Essling would be cool. And +1 for Badajoz.

Non: A Carribean/tropical island with a fortress would be a fresh and unique Siege map.

A trenches map where both sides have symmetrical trenches with no man's  in the middle, and maybe a cannon battery on each side.

I agree with the Badajoz people, would be great!

One set in the day as a siege and one set at night as a ruined half breached fort with a town to fall back and bloodily fight in.
