I've been thinking about naval battles too. Imagine an archipelago conquest map.. A dozen small islands scattered about on a huge map, with 2 main island spawns. And then imagine that as a 92nd conquest event map
A map that is set on a area of the English coastline for Napoleons dream of a invasion of Britain (could be used if theres ever a campaign event) one side use boats to reach the coast, maybe have them spawn on a large (static) boat with the moveable ones reachable by ladders.
How about making the Naval assault map a kind of siege map, since there is already quite a large advantage going to the defending team.
I agree with the Badajoz people, would be great!
