Low FPS then High FPS towards the end of the Round?

Does anyone happen to know an easy fix for my problem? It doesn't seem to be the environmental graphics that cause lag, but the amount of people on the server. When I begin a game, I can have around 40-50FPS, but as the round is coming to an end and most people are dead, the FPS has shot up to over 200?

Is anyone else having the same issue? and is there a graphics setting I can change which should help?

There's an option to limit max fps in the launcher , try using that to see if it helps :)

I dont mind the high fps, I just want to stop it ever dropping below 60 :D

I turned down the character detail to the lowest and that helped a lot, but it's still not 100% stable

limit it to 45 frames per second. it will run stable all the time and you wont notice any difference to your 200 frames. Your monitor most likely wont be able to display 200 frames anyway. Most monitors can only display 50-60 frames per second.

1. How many players where on the server?
2. Which map where you playing on?
3. What are your system specs?

Well, I don't have NW, but it WB it was like this:
1. Launch the launcher (not the game itself)
2. Go to "configure"
3. Go to the "Video" tab
4. Look below "Texture detail"

The stuttering is very noticeable with 45 fps, it's not the way to fix it. I am also experiencing fps drops from 120 to 30-40 when something happens (probably particle system, and lighting). But it still happens the same if I set everything to low (I just gain those 2-3 fps nothing noticeable), this must be the game's fault, it is probably not optimized for having all those 200 players battles in my opinion. I hope I am wrong.

In the beginning of the match when everybody spawns it lags a lot because all 100 players are in the same area. In the end when 3/4 people are dead it lags a lot less.
I thought the game could run with decent fps even with 200 players, since it's the main concept of this dlc to have massive line battles.

well if your fps falls lower than 45, then it is ofc not a fix. then you nneed to limit it to 30 frames...

Other than that, we are working on improving the particle system, but dont expect to much.

Eheh, it doesn't work that way, if the problem is low fps, setting the cap to 30 is pointless.

I am not expecting anything from this DLC, I just want to know if it's the game being poorly optimized/engine limited or if it's my system's fault.
