I would love it if each army had a massed group shout or chant they could all do in groups of four and over.

That would be really nice.

Please, PLEASE make the turning speed for infantry slower because of:

a) I can slaughter a fleeing enemy properly without him turning in less than a second and killing me and my horsie  :(

b) so that we don't see the silly spin-stab anymore.

Please read this, thanks in advance.

Sincerely, AtheistOverlord.

They already slowed it down enormously. Any more than that and Hekko will quit ;)

After playing a sapper tonight, I decided that I think sappers should have the choice to choose whether they want to carry a musket/carbine or a hammer.  I know many line battles will only allow for one sapper to use a hammer while the rest search for muskets and build defenses. I am not sure if this has been suggested over a million times or not.  I am too lazy to search.
Witty things go here.

I suggest that the cavalry flags are made sheathable. It's a bit annoying when playing as a cavalry colour-bearer and you have to drop your flag and leave it behind when you get into melee. With infantry it's different because you're a much more static force and can easily go back to get your colour.

what about more realism? deactivate crosshairs ons erver so the linebattles would be much more realistic + way more skill needed you ahve to aim by your musket . the lines have to stay closer to each other like it was in real life not like  here with alll thse "sniper lines" and the melee would be way more important

peoples would definitly cry but its with every new thing the same after a while im sure they would like it

And what's to stop people from sticking crosshairs to their screen?, people did it in C-RPG and they will do it here if you removed crosshairs.

If you want no crosshairs just disable it in the options screen.

One or two Prussian regiments are suffering a sad case of non unique looking officers, I'd like to see that fixed in the future too.

Suggestions:

1. Random historical fact pop-ups (optional) when dead. They should be about the war or life in general during this time period.

2. More maps focusing on naval battles, including large ships. Possibly even water-only maps.

3. A damage-based score system, similar to the old Half-Life 1&2 mod Battlegrounds. Total damage is displayed instead of kills.

4. Sappers gaining score from damage dealt to structures they built, if the above system is implemented.

5. Musicians getting the same. Perhaps a percentage of damage friends deal while under musician buff.

6. Real-time officer buffs. When an officer says "retreat," we get a 5 second speed buff. When he says present arms, we get an accuracy buff. When he says "Hold this position" we get a minor defense buff. Game should automatically determine who has the highest rank for this to work, and it should be only one person per team.

7. Half-Life system commands. Timeleft, Nextmap, Votekick, Voteban.

This is an amazing game and I think some or all of these things can make it even better.
