I dont know if this has been suggested yet... Or if its even possible to code,

IMO i like the fact that Line infantry cant zoom, But i also believe that light infantry or Rifles should have that ability( Maybe just rifle regiments ) it would make sense seeing as that rifles were extremely accurate its just still to hard to hit someone when u cant really see them  :P anyway thats my 2 cents

Trained young noble with sable vs poor lineman forced to army with bayonet. On who you would bet?

Infantryman with bayonet beats toff with courtier fencing skills. Fencing has nothing to do with real war fighting, and is simply puffed up blow trading. A real soldier - unlike officers who paid for their commissions - was taught how to kill in any way possible, with no flair or flounce. I would rather face some foppish dandy and his sabre, than a pissed off soldier and his bayonet. Just saying.

Is it possible to get a separate button for beards and mouth accessories like pipes and cigars and monocles?  Many of us would like to have moustaches and beards in addition to the cigars and whatnot.

That foppish dandy had years of training, compared to a frightened recruit who not even a year ago was just ploughing his field.

Years of training against a fair opponent, in a sporting situation. Note, war is not fair, and your enemy is most definitely not going to be sporting. I think some people have watched far too many Hollywood renditions of this era; the sword was nearing the end of its life, and even then, was not a particularly practical weapon when faced against someone wielding what was essentially a pike.

Not sure where to post this, but for some reason the Official US Siege server has an irritating time limit of five minutes. Can it please be changed?

Hi! I want to ask if you could change the detection of the objects in the commander battle mode to choose to which enemy to shoot or when to reload cause when cav comes behind us they hide in montains(from whatever) and the bots point at them and its very frustrating and thats how you lose the battle xD
thanks and salutations XD

No comprienden español creo :)

Got any proof for that statement or are you just giving your thoughts?

Yeah here, let me crack open Oxford Universitys "Running in front of Gigantic Fast Moving Animals and managing to escape with your life" study.

Are you serious? You need me to explain to you why a 2 x 20 cm bayonet is not going to instantly kill a moving horse and its rider in the same blow? let alone the fact how the single man who kills it managed to drive himself into 55,000 joules of moving flesh and bone and manage to survive with his spine intact?

In terms of raw damage the bayonet is absolutely ridiculous. 45 thrust damage. Even the Balance Warhammer, the most OP weapon in warband only did 42 thrust damage, and that was still enough to kill even the most heavily armored troops in a single blow. A comparatively tiny blade on a gun is not going to do more damage than a sword thrust or sword chop from a balanced and sharpened sword. A bayonet is a secondary melee capability, not a godly primary weapon.

Tiny blade? I think you are confusing modern bayonets (more knives really), with the 6+ inch bayonets of the Napoleonic era. If you think getting stuck with one of those was nothing to worry about, then perhaps you should give it a go.

Yep, because "20 cm" doesn't equal 7+ inches at all. Its very tiny in comparison to the 45 inch swords of equal sharpness, and yet they seem to only do a fraction of the damage on bayonets.

And don't pull some tired "being on a pole makes it do more damage" argument, it doesn't take much force for a razor sharp blade to fully perforate an unarmored body. So why dont you explain why it makes sense that bayonets do 2x as much damage as any other longer and sharper blade?

I would like commander deathmatch. It would be like the one in WFaS where you are the commander but your squad can spawn at any time. Great for those moments where you can't exactly spare the time until the round is over.
