Stop being silly, just eject "Vikingr" cartridge and blow on it, helps all the time.

For those of you who have a steam 5x5 key .. you can convert it to a 4x4 key and then play warband without steam taleworlds officially made that generator, no illegal tricking involved

As some of you probably noticed the FenrirSkogr went offline today too, so that there is no dedicated server running Vikingr at the moment. Once we have ported everything and can use a compatible WSE version there will be a server again, just right now it makes little sense as most people can not play anyway, and so we will have to put up with a few days of waiting until we are back online with everything.

This does not affect the event though, in case anyone wonders, as that will be hosted independently^^

Sorry, so this means we all may upgrade our warband version to 1.51 since any vikingr server won't be up until you'll make the mod compatible with the new patch, am i right?

Yes it seems they fixed the more serious problems anyway, from what I read the main new features you can enjoy now are archers taking a break from fighting every now and then as well as some refreshing variations in the sounds.
The next patch will be based on 1.151 too (unless they threaten to release yet another one) and so updating won't hurt in that sense.

Not on topic here, but would it be possible for me to play M&B NOT through steam? I have a 4x4 code already.
What i mean is making M&B independent of steam.

Uninstall the steam version, but copy the Key code and download Warband from talewords and paste the cd-key. and also copy mods too

You don't even have to uninstall it, you could as well use the link in the first post to install the non-steam 1.143 in a seperate folder and use it from there while keeping the steam version.
